They are described as a people of China and can also be known as Daliangshan Nosu, Shynrya.
They are an Indigenous people, with Nosu as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Nosu people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples.
Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Chinese Folk Religion.
They primarily speak Nuosu.
