They are a tribal subgroup of the Sedang people of southeastern LaosSadang Halang They are an Indigenous people, in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Sedang.
