The Peoria of the United States

The Peoria of the United States, numbering approximately 1,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a federally recognized Native American tribe known as the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma. They are descendants of the Illinois Confederation, which included the Peoria, Kaskaskia, Piankashaw, and Wea tribes and can also be known as Peouaroua, Peewaalia. They are an Indigenous people, in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Native American religions. They primarily speak English.
