They are a minor Indigenous ethnic group in Nigeria, located mainly in Plateau State and Bauchi State in the country’s north‑central region. They are an Indigenous people, in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Kadung.
