The Kampo of India

The Kampo of India, numbering approximately 1,710,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of the Odisha-Andhra Pradesh border region whose name is an Oriya form of Kapu. Agriculture was their traditional occupation, though most now depend on agricultural labor and sharecropping. They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
