The Cudigar of India

The Cudigar of India, numbering approximately 1,800 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Sunni Muslim bangle-making community of Rajasthan whose name derives from chudi, meaning bangle, traditionally crafting bangles from coconut shell and ivory though now largely dependent on wage labor. They are an Indigenous people in the Bihari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Marwari (India) and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
