The Cakketakare of India

The Cakketakare of India, numbering approximately 30 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an occupational caste of Muslim stone-carvers speaking Telugu and Urdu in Andhra Pradesh. The Cakketakare traditionally made grinding stones and now primarily work in quarrying. They are an Indigenous people in the Urdu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Urdu and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
