The Hill Pulaya of India, numbering approximately 4,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Tribe of Kerala, also known as Mala Pulaya, comprising endogamous subgroups such as Kurumba Pulaya and Karavazhi Pulaya. They are predominantly a rural agricultural community They are an Indigenous people, with Hill Pulaya as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Tamil.
