The Khamyang of India, numbering approximately 2,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a community of India and can also be known as Khamiyang, Nara, Khamyang, Nora, Khamiyan, Khamjang. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Theravada. They primarily speak Assamese.
