The Nema of India, numbering approximately 56,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a vegetarian trading community of Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh also called Mahajan or Nima, divided into the Dasa and Bisa divisions. Business and government service remain their main occupations. They are an Indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hindi and their primary religion is Vaishnavaism.
