They are a collection of North-Indian Vaishya (Bania) Jain merchant communities, especially among Marwari Jains of Rajasthan and their diaspora. Sarawagi, Sarogi, Sarawgi They are an Indigenous people, in the South Asian Jain people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Other - Jainism. They primarily speak Mewari.
