The Langa of India

The Langa of India, numbering approximately 500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a hereditary Muslim musician and bard community of western India, especially renowned in Rajasthan and parts of Gujarat. They are best known for their role as genealogists, praise‑singers, and folk musicians. They are an Indigenous people, in the Jat people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Kacchi.
