The Dhyar of India, numbering approximately 11,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small Hindu Scheduled Caste (SC) community of Jammu and Kashmir. The Dhyar traditionally participate and cattle-herding and agriculture. They are an Indigenous people, in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Dogri.
