The Kumhar of Nepal

The Kumhar of Nepal, numbering approximately 93,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a large South Asian artisan caste/community whose traditional occupation is pottery. They are found across the Indian subcontinent, especially in India, and also in Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. They are an Indigenous people, in the Kumhar people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Nepali.
