The Majhi of India, numbering approximately 500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small migrant community originally associated with boat-rowing but now largely engaged in diverse livelihoods such as farming, wage labor, small business, and contract work. They are an Indigenous people, in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Majhi.
