The Mahuria of India, numbering approximately 8,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Dalit (Scheduled Caste) community of eastern and central India, traditionally associated with stone‑working, especially the making of hand‑mills and grinding stones used in agriculture and households. They are an Indigenous people in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Odia and their primary religion is Hinduism.
