The Malis of India

The Malis of India, numbering approximately 6,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Hindu community of India, a scheduled tribe of Andhra Pradesh. The Mali are an occupational community traditionally engaged in making and selling garlands with flowers and officiating as priests in village temples and shrines. Malis They are an Indigenous people, in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Odia.
