The Kunbi (Gujarati) of India

The Kunbi (Gujarati) of India, numbering approximately 64,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Hindu agrarian community of western India, concentrated mainly in Gujarat. Traditionally settled farmers, they derive their identity from cultivation and household land management and speak Gujarati as their primary language. They are an Indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Gujarati and their primary religion is Hinduism.
