They are one of three dialect subgroups of Ute-Southern Paiute (ute), a language of the United States. They are an Indigenous people, in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Ute-Southern Paiute.
