The Oirat of United States, numbering approximately 1,900 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of United States; a dialect subgroup of Kalmyk-Oirat (xal) and can also be known as In Progress. They are an Diaspora people, in the Mongolian people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Kalmyk-Oirat.
