The Gullah of United States, numbering approximately 296,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a subgroup of the African American ethnic group who predominantly inhabit the remote barrier islands of South Carolina and Georgia. They are an Indigenous people in the Afro-American people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Sea Island English Creole and their primary religion is Protestantism.
