The Blackfoot of Canada

The Blackfoot of Canada, numbering approximately 3,100 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a confederation of Algonquian-speaking Indigenous tribes who traditionally lived in the northwestern Great Plains, particularly in what is now Alberta. They are also known as Piegon, Siksika, Pikuni, Piikani. They are an Indigenous people in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Blackfoot and their primary religion is Roman Catholicism.
