They are an indigenous South African people that predates the arrival of Bantu-speaking Africans and Europeans in the region. They are also known as Saan. They are an Diaspora people in the Khoisan people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Setswana and their primary religion is Ethnoreligion.
