The Tungur of Sudan

The Tungur of Sudan, numbering approximately 365,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a once powerful kingdom in Sudan whose power was eclipsed by the rise of the Fur empire in the seventeenth century. They are an Indigenous people in the Arab, Sudan people cluster of the Arab Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Arabic, Sudanese and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
