The Gibe of Ethiopia

The Gibe of Ethiopia, numbering approximately 132,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a tribal subgroup of the Oromo, one of the oldest Cushitic people inhabiting the Horn of Africa. They are also known as Jimma. They are an Indigenous people in the Oromo people cluster of the Horn of Africa Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Oromo, Borana-Arsi-Guji and their primary religion is Orthodox Christianity.
