The Burun of Ethiopia, numbering approximately 5,900 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Nilotic ethnic group indigenous to Mabaan county in the Upper Nile state of South Sudan. Maban, Maaban, Chai They are an Diaspora people, in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Orthodox. They primarily speak Mabaan.
