They are a nomadic Bedouin Arab ethnic group inhabiting the coastal plain of the Red Sea, stretching from the Sudanese city of Port Sudan to the Eritrean city of Massawa. Arab, Saudi, Rashayda They are an Diaspora people, in the Arab, Sudan people cluster of the Arab Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Arabic, Hijazi.
