The Guhayna of Sudan

The Guhayna of Sudan, numbering approximately 2,015,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a major Arab tribal confederation with deep historical roots in northwestern Arabia (Hijaz) and a very large presence in Sudan and Egypt. The Guhayna were among the first Arab tribes to fully convert to Islam. They are also known as Juhayna. They are an Indigenous people in the Arab, Sudan people cluster of the Arab Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Arabic, Sudanese and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
