They are one of three dialect subgroups of Karaja (kpj), a language of Brazil They are an Indigenous people, in the Amazon people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Karajá.
