The Ulladan of India

The Ulladan of India, numbering approximately 25,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, and other districts of Kerala, also called Nayadi, traditionally foragers, hunters, and honey-gatherers. Canoe-making, woodcutting, and basketry remain traditional occupations. They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Malayalam and their primary religion is Folk Hinduism.
