The Rajbhar of India

The Rajbhar of India, numbering approximately 89,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. Considered an offshoot of the Bhar, the Rajbhar were traditionally farm servants and cattle-herders for local rulers. Cultivation and wage labor remain common occupations among this Hindu group. They are an Indigenous people in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Bhojpuri and their primary religion is Hinduism.
