The Dolapati of India, numbering approximately 29,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a warrior caste of Odisha's Ganjam district whose name is a corruption of dalapati, meaning chief of soldiers, now engaged primarily in agriculture and government service while still worshipping ancestral weapons during Durga Puja They are an Indigenous people, with Dalua / Dolapati as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Odia.
