The Rengma Naga of India

The Rengma Naga of India, numbering approximately 79,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Naga group of Nagaland and Assam's Karbi Anglong district, their name recalling a warrior's traditional dress. Shifting cultivation remains primary, supplemented by weaving and pottery, and most now follow Christianity They are an Indigenous people, with Naga as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Tangsa Naga people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism. They primarily speak Naga, Southern Rengma.
