The Adi of India

The Adi of India, numbering approximately 119,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a tribal community of the Adi inhabiting the East and West Siang districts of Arunachal Pradesh in northeastern India, practicing shifting and terrace cultivation and following the indigenous Donyi-Polo religion centered on sun and moon worship. They are an Indigenous people, in the Adi people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Hindi.
