The Bhumija of India, numbering approximately 1,150,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of India, distributed over the states of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam and Tripura. They are an Indigenous people, in the Munda-Santal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism - Folk. They primarily speak Mundari.
