The Rajbanshi of India, numbering approximately 5,130,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Caste community of northern West Bengal, Bihar, and Assam, also known as Koch or Desi. The name Rajbanshi meaning descendants of the royal family and the Rajbanshi claim Kshatriya status They are an Indigenous people, with Rajbansi as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Bengali.
