The Chichicapan Zapotec of Mexico, numbering approximately 1,900 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguisic subgroup of the Zapotec, an ethnic group indigenous to the state of Oaxaca, Mexico and can also be known as Zapoteco de San Baltazar Chichicapan, Eastern Ocotlán Zapotec, Eastern Ocotlán, Zapotec, Chichicapan, Eastern Ocotlán Zapotec, Chichicapan Zapotec, Zapoteco de San Baltazar Chichicapam, Eastern Ocotlán Zapotec; Zapoteco de San Baltazar Chichicapan, Zapoteco. They are an Indigenous people, in the Zapotec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Zapotec, Chichicapan.
