The Kalmyk-Oirats of Uzbekistan, numbering approximately 950 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Uzbekistan; a dialect subgroup of Kalmyk-Oirat (xal) . They are an Diaspora people, in the Mongolian people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Mahayana. They primarily speak Kalmyk-Oirat.
