The Waigeli Nuristani of Afghanistan, numbering approximately 2,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a subgroup of the larger Nuristani ethnic group of northeastern Afghanistan. The Waigeli reside mainly in the Waigal Valley. Kalasha They are an Indigenous people, in the Nuristani people cluster of the Persian-Median Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Waigali.
