The Bakwe of Angola, numbering approximately 28,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a West African ethnic group with a long‑established history in the forest and forest–savanna zones of southern Côte d’Ivoire and southeastern Ghana. They are an Indigenous people, in the Pygmy people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Koongo.
