The Batemi of Tanzania

The Batemi of Tanzania, numbering approximately 57,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Tanzania and can also be known as Temi, People prefer Temi, Sonjo, but most outside tribe call them Sonjo Neither is more common. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Central-Lakes people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Temi.
