The Embu-Mbeere of Kenya, numbering approximately 700,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Bantu ethnic group indigenous to Embu county, southeast of Mount Kenya. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Gikuyu-Kamba people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Kiembu.
