The Western Fulani of Niger, numbering approximately 919,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are one of several subgroups of the Fulbe, the world's largest community of nomadic herders and can also be known as Gorgabe. They are an Indigenous people, in the Fulani / Fulbe people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Fulfulde, Western Niger.
