The Tamajeq Tuareg of Niger, numbering approximately 1,260,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a large Berber ethnic group that inhabits a vast area of the Sahara desert stretching from far southwestern Libya to southern Algeria, Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tuareg people cluster of the Arab Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Tamajaq, Tawallammat.
