The Mon of Thailand, numbering approximately 120,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are one of Southeast Asia’s oldest Indigenous peoples, founders of some of the region’s earliest civilizations and a major cultural force in what is now Myanmar and Thailand. They are an Indigenous people, in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Mon.
