They are a Sarawak Tribal subgroup of the Kenyah people, an indigenous ethnic group native to Borneo, primarily in Sarawak (Malaysia) and East Kalimantan (Indonesia) and can also be known as Kenyah, Bakong Kenyah. They are an Indigenous people, in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Kenyah, Mainstream.
