They are an indigenous, Austroasiatic ethnic group primarily residing in southern Laos. and can also be known as Hrlak. They are an Indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Alak and their primary religion is Animism.
