The Bulang of China

The Bulang of China, numbering approximately 104,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as an Indigenous ethnic group of southwestern China and one of the 56 officially recognized ethnic minorities of the People’s Republic of China. They are best known for their ancient tea‑growing culture, their Austroasiatic (Mon‑Khmer) language and can also be known as Blang. They are an Indigenous people, with Bulang, Blang as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Theravada Buddhism. They primarily speak Blang.
