The Beidalao of China

The Beidalao of China, numbering approximately 32,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small, officially recognized subgroup of the Yao nationality in southern China. They are one of several cases where linguistic and cultural reality does not neatly match China’s formal ethnic labels. They are an Indigenous people, in the Yao-Mien people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Pa-Hng.
