They are a Khams Tibetan ethnolinguistic group indegenous to the Tibetan Autonomous Region of southwestern China. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Tseku.
